Numerology:Rules and reading
Numerology converts a birth date or name into numbers under an explicit convention, then assigns symbolic themes. AstralNex uses a Pythagorean method and separates life path, birthday, expression, soul urge and personality numbers. These labels describe different inputs, so the arithmetic comes before interpretation.
Foundations and calculation
Dates use the Gregorian calendar. Life path can reduce the date components before adding them or sum all digits directly. Retaining 11, 22 and 33 changes intermediate reductions. Name calculations require a confirmed A–Z spelling: all letters for expression, vowels for soul urge and consonants for personality. Confirm how Y is classified and whether words are reduced separately.
Worked example
For 1 January 1990, the year reduces 19→10→1; month and day are each 1, giving life path 3. The birthday remains 1. ANNA gives 1+5+5+1=12→3, while its vowels total 2 and consonants 10→1. Identical final numbers can therefore have different origins.
Reading and judgment
Read date and name numbers separately before comparing themes. Keep totals, reduction steps and spelling. When calculators disagree, check calendar, master-number policy, reduction order, transliteration and Y classification in that order.
Common mistakes
A master number is not a higher personal rank. An absent number is not a missing ability. A new spelling changes an input, not evidence of a changed destiny. These symbolic categories are not validated personality measurements.
